Language Expansion Activities for Preschoolers, The Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) 40th Annual International Conference on Language Teaching and Learning (See above)

In this workshop, the evidence-based relationship between language development and young children’s mental development was briefly explained. Then, the necessary conditions and behaviors for language acquisition were reviewed. Selected examples of language expansion activities were demonstrated. A discussion of how to modify participants’ current teaching methods to create more effective language learning activities was held.
