Effects of listeners’ active listening and questioning skills on speakers’ speaking skills

The present study examined the effects of teaching active listening and questioning skills to listeners to improve the speakers’ speaking skills.    It was concluded that (1) in order to maximize the improvement of learners’ speaking skills, their listeners need to possess good listening skills, and (2) the effects of listening skills differ depending on the speakers’ affective factors.
